That is, until the breach of sinister forces from an unknown origin. They took the astral realm by surprise and with ease, overwhelming the gods who had not known war for so long. Ravaged and ragged, the defeated escaped through a wormhole in time to a parallel dimension, where they would rebuild their paradise and retake their original homeland.
